The key to getting alcohol (and drug) consumption under control can be done in a variety of ways. One of the best methods is to take an alcohol awareness classes. For those that are under 21, the taking a Minor in Possession class might be a better alternative choice. Other options include attending AA meetings or participating in an in/out patient treatment program.

One of the sad facts of living with an alcoholic is we become just as mentally and emotionally sick as the alcoholic. This happens because every step of life we take, and every breath of air we breathe has some involvement with the alcoholic. Our emotions overtake our own mental health as we try and cope with the deterioration of the alcoholic in our life. What are we doing wrong? We are concentrating too much on the disease, instead of concentrating on our mental and emotional health. We may as well be tipping the bottle for them. Depending of age the trends differs. Men and women alike, bottom rates across the course were in the age bracket of fifth-teen to thirty four year olds. During ’08, the rates were 2.9 per 100K and 1.3 per 100K accordingly. The top rates were seen in people between the ages of filthy five and seventy four. In males, we see another increase from 23 per 100K in ’92 and ’93 to 45.8 per 100K in ’08, the greatest rate among all of the different age categories. Overall deaths related to alcohol have increased substantially compared to figures recorded in ’07.
