Now then, why do I say all this? Gambling is legal in most American cities, except for New Orleans. And yet there are many areas where it is illegal to bet (including parts of Florida, where the legislation is most likely much less strict). Therefore it stands to reason that the ordinary citizen in an Atlantic City, Las Vegas, or Jacksonville area doesn’t have a very great deal of exposure to gaming, and therefore has no reason to worry about it.
